ENDURING LOVE

is an amazingly well told story with an excellent psychology of the main character and with one of the best openings I have ever read.
The crucial event is slowly revealed in a succession of action passages and descriptive and explanatory passages giving the background. This and the rhythm and pace at which the important information is being uncovered very skillfully creates an atmosphere of suspense that keeps you interested until the very last page. Even though the plot is rather complicated the reader never feels lost. They always get an opportunity to see connections between the facts and thoughts of characters that were presented to them.
